Sapphire is a gem added by various mods, including RedPower 2, GregTech and Biomes O' Plenty. It can be obtained by mining Sapphire Ore, by combining Sapphire Fragments, or with UU-Matter.

Note that only the Biomes O' Plenty version of the sapphire can be used to create the Ancient Staff Handle. Any other type of sapphire from any other mod will not work.

Recipe

Alternatively four Sapphire Dust and 24 Industrial TNT may be processed in an Implosion Compressor to create 3 Sapphires and 12 Dark Ashes. The process takes 1 second and requires 640 EU.
