Iron Chests is a mod created by cpw. This mod adds a variety of new chests to the game in addition to iron chests. All are better than vanilla chests in that they have more capacity and can be placed next to each other. However, they are single chests only, and cannot be combined to create double chests. Only obsidian chests have increased blast resistance.

DirtChest 9000![edit]
Capacity: 1 Inventory slot
DirtChest 9000! can hold up to one stack of dirt. It will not hold any other item, however it comes with a user manual inside it when made. This manual cannot be replaced in the chest if removed. Has no damage value, so be careful where you place it!
Copper Chest[edit]
Capacity: 45 Inventory slots
Iron Chest[edit]
Capacity: 54 Inventory slotsNote: This recipe also works with Refined Iron, though storage capacity is unchanged.
