Frames are structures created by a Quarry to support the drill head used in operation. They are generated by the Quarry itself when first powered up, outlining the area to be mined. When the Quarry is removed, the Frame blocks will decay like leaves.

Frames cannot be crafted, but an infinite amount can be collected by an Extra Utilities Item Transfer Node placed on the top of an unpowered quarry, (unless a bug occurs and the quarry breaks a frame) and serve only this purpose.

Mining these blocks while a quarry is still active does not affect the operation of the quarry.
