The Monitor is a part of ComputerCraft. When connected to a Computer , Monitors can display certain programs. It is possible to write programs for the monitor using Lua . When multiple Monitors are placed next to each other, they will form a larger monitor.
To use a monitor, place a computer adjacent to it and type:
monitor <side of the computer that the monitor is on> <program> <arguments>
Connected monitors can form large monitors which can be used as movie theaters on multiplayer servers. Monitors are fairly cheap to make, and provide hundreds of features, such as movies and text displays. Advanced Monitors are also capable of displaying colours.
