60k Coolant Cells are used in Nuclear Reactors from IndustrialCraft². There are three different types of Coolant cells in FTB: the 10k Coolant Cell, 30k Coolant Cell, and the 60k Coolant Cell. Then there are even Helium Coolant Cells, of which include the 60k Helium Coolant Cell, the 180k Helium Coolant Cell, and the 360k Helium Coolant Cell.

Coolant cells work by absorbing heat produced by Uranium Cells in a reactor. The higher the number, the more heat that the cell will absorb. If the heat limit is exceeded the cell will start to take damage at a rate proportional to how much heat the cell is exposed to and the heat present in the reactor, however the cell will only absorb heat from adjacent components, not the reactor hull itself. Unlike Heat Vents, coolant cells do not repair any damage taken when the reactor is shut off or the component is removed.
