The Liquid Void is a block added by XyCraft. Any liquid piped into this block will be destroyed, enabling you to empty a tank with ease. When placed next to a Valve in a Multi Tank the Liquid Void will draw out any liquid that is at the level of the Valve. This allows the tank to be kept from exceeding a certain amount of stored liquid.

The Liquid Void also functions similar to a vanilla sponge from Alpha, albeit in a smaller range. Any liquid block (lava, oil, water, etc.) is prevented from flowing adjacent to a Liquid Void.
