The Grate is used as a buffer of sorts between a system of Fluid Pipes and the outside environment. Grates can be placed above fluid source blocks and then used to transport any given fluid from the environment into Fluid Pipes and to some sort of destination. It can also be used for removing liquid from Fluid Pipes and placing it back in the outside environment.
