The Shovel Kit is a container added by Forestry which contains a Survivalist's Shovel. It can be obtained by crafting a Carton with a Survivalist's Shovel in a shapeless recipe. The Shovel Kit can also be crafted by crafting the Survivalist's Shovel in the Carpenter with a Carton. Using the Carpenter to craft the Shovel Kit requires no liquid and approximately 532MJ of power.

To remove the Survivalist's Shovel from the Shovel Kit, right click with the Shovel Kit selected. The Shovel Kit allows the player to carry 24 Survivalist's Shovels in a single inventory space.
