Rubber Boots are a piece of equipment that decreases fall damage taken. These are especially useful when paired with a Jetpack, since the player tends to land from great heights. It also protects the player from cactus damage.

When worn with a full Hazmat Suit and Scuba Helmet, the player gains a resistance to environmental damage effects, such as radiation, fire and Lava.  

They have a durability of 64 and lose durability equal to the amount of dameage the player would have taken without them.

Note: It does not protect from Poison or Hunger effects, such as those induced by the Sludge Boiler.
