Minewood is a type of log that is found within Miner's Trees. It is found in conjunction with Miner's Leaves and forms the "hilt" of the "pickaxe"-like shape of the Miner's Tree, along with a single Minewood Core. A Miner's Tree can only be grown from a Miner's Tree Sapling, an item which is currently not obtainable outside of spawning it in using /give or NEI.

As with the three other logs that can be obtained from "magic trees" (Timewood, Transwood and Sortingwood) Minewood currently cannot be turned into Wooden Planks through a crafting grid or via Sawmill/Industrial Sawmill. Minewood can be used as fuel in a furnace for the same period of time as Wooden Planks or regular vanilla Logs, and is interchangeable with vanilla Logs in many recipes such as the Impregnated Casing or the Barrel.
