Twilight Mangrove Sapling is a type of Twilight Forest Sapling that is sometimes acquired when Mangrove Leaves are broken by hand or decay naturally. Twilight Mangrove Saplings are used to grow Twilight Mangroves, a tree found exclusively within the Swamp biome in the Twilight Forest and the Fire Swamp biome. This tree will be composed of one to two dozen Mangrove Wood, a head of Mangrove Leaves and a structure of Root blocks stretching below it.

The Twilight Mangrove Sapling appears to generate a tree that has three main roots that connect the central trunk of the tree to the ground. This is contrary to all the other types of Twilight Forest Trees and all the other trees that exist in vanilla Minecraft. Currently, the Twilight Mangrove Sapling also appears to not be able to instantly grow with usage of Bone Meal, a bug that also affects Canopy Tree Saplings and Tree of Transformation Saplings. In addition, Twilight Mangrove Saplings are finicky to use and do not produce as many logs as other saplings such as the Canopy Tree Sapling. However, they produce less Root blocks and are less time-intensive and cumbersome to clean up than other, larger trees are.
