The Bronze Blast Furnace is a Bronze Age multi-block structure from GregTech, consisting of 32 Bronze Plated Bricks and 1 Bronze Blast Furnace block, used to obtain Steel Ingots. It slightly resembles Industrial Blast Furnace.

Construction

A common Bronze Blast Furnace setup.

Each Bronze Blast Furnace is made with 32 blocks of Bronze Plated Bricks in a 3x3x4 tower. The bottom is a 3x3 solid stucture, In the middle there are three empty slots. The Bronze Blast Furnace block must be placed in the middle of the second row of blocks.

When the furnace is turned on for the first time (by inserting necessary ingredients into it), 2 lava blocks will be added to the middle of the furnace's structure automatically (unlike the Industrial Blast Furnace, in which lava is optional and is added manually).

It is not possible to create a Bronze Blast Furnace with four furnace blocks using the same structure. But it is possible for multiple Furnace structures to share walls, saving materials required to craft Bronze Plated Bricks.

A double Bronze Blast Furnace setup, the wall in the middle is shared.

The Bronze Blast Furnace's only purpose is obtaining Steel Ingots, which are required to craft most electricity-using machines in GregTech.

Energy

The Bronze Blast Furnace doesn't require Steam unlike other Bronze Age machines, as it uses Coal to process Iron Ingots.

Recipe

Note: The Wrench can be made of Bronze/Iron/Steel/Tungstensteel or an Electric/Advanced one can be used.

Note: The Hammer can be made of Bronze/Iron/Steel/Tungstensteel.

• Total amount of Bronze Ingots required to create the Bronze Blast Furnace: 200 (192 to craft 32 Bronze Plated Bricks plus 8 to craft the Furnace block itself)

Usage

It takes the Bronze Blast Furnace 300 seconds to process 1 ingot.

• 1 Iron Ingot + 8 Charcoal → 1 Steel Ingot + 4 Dark Ashes
• 1 Iron Ingot + 4 Coal → 1 Steel Ingot + 4 Dark Ashes
• 1 Iron Ingot + 2 Coal Coke → 1 Steel Ingot + 4 Ashes
