The Universal Macerator is a very useful machine from GregTech that (as its tooltip subtly suggests) acts as a unified Macerator, Pulverizer and Rock Crusher in one block. When first registering an item in its input slot, the machine first checks for any valid Pulverizer recipes involving the item. If none are available, it will check for any Rock Crusher recipes, and failing both of those, it will default to an IC2 Macerator recipe. If none of the three machines can process the item the Universal Macerator will simply not function.

The machine also shares the features of the Pulverizer and Rock Crusher to occasionally generate byproducts, such as Copper Dust from processing Gold Ore. It cannot, however, produce more than one additional product as the Rock Crusher can, due to its limited number of output slots.
