Chemical Reactor is a machine added in GregTech. Chemical Reactor Requires 32EU/t to function and is used to combine elements in Cells to produce new materials.
Usage[edit]
The Chemical Reactor is effectively the opposite of the Electrolyzer, combining simpler chemicals into more complex compounds. Some, like Sulfuric Acid Cells, are used as components in more productive recipes (in this case RE Batteries). Other chemical products such as Sodium Persulfate Cells are used in the Industrial Grinder to improve output, as that does for Copper, Tin, and Zinc.
There are two input slots and one output slot. The cells input into the top of the machine will be the left ingredient and the cells input through the bottom will be the right ingredient. NEI shows the recipes for the machine but the cells can be put in any order (e.g. If the recipe calls for a carbon cell on the left and four hydrogen on the right, you can reverse the order and get the same output). Power can be supplied to any side of the machine.
Known Bugs[edit]
- The OmniWrench is only able to retrieve the Chemical Reactor if used on its top face; using the wrench on any other side will have no effect.
- The portal gun mod's gravity gun function also does not work on it.
