The Digital Chest works much like the Barrel in that it can store only one type of items in mass amounts. The Digital Chest can only store 32,640 items, whereas the Quantum Chest, an upgraded version, can store over two billion. Pipes may send items into the chest, as well as pull them out. If using golden transport pipes, there is a bug where the Digital Chest can store 32,768, but all other amounts afterwards are thrown out of the pipes and onto the ground.
