The MV Solar Panel is an upgraded version of the LV Solar Panel and is used in the same way, however, it emits 64 EU/t when in the sunlight and 8 EU/t otherwise. It must be placed on top of the machine in order to generate power. To place on a machine, simply right click in the side you want to place it. Removing the block it is placed on will irreversibly destroy the panel, so a crowbar should be used first to retrieve it.
Unlike most sources of EU generation, when placed on a machine unable to accept 64EU/t, it will not operate until the appropriate level of Transformer Upgrades are applied, avoiding the risk of explosion and making this a very safe method of powering machines.
Just like the LV Solar Panel, it is not enabled by default and must be enabled through the GregTech configuration files before it can be crafted.
