The Supercondensator converts any EU that is inserted to 1 million EU per packet when a Redstone current is applied and converts packets of up to 1 million EU down to packets of 8,192 EU when no Redstone current is applied. The 8,192 EU packets it emits are too large for anything except a Matter Fabricator, and can only be transported on the same extremely expensive Superconductor Wire that transported the 1 million EU packets in the first place.

Unlike regular IC2 transformers, the Supercondensator always outputs to the dotted side, regardless of redstone state, the other 5 faces are input faces.
