The Chunk of Lazurite is an item added by GregTech that is created by putting eight Lazurite Dust in a Compressor. It is, in some ways, an item form of a Block of Lapis Lazuli from vanilla Minecraft. It has no uses that cannot also be accomplished with use of a normal Block of Lapis Lazuli. However, it is slightly less expensive item-wise, as it only requires eight Lazurite instead of the normal nine Lapis Lazuli to make a block. As with how Lazurite is interchangeable with Lapis Lazuli in many recipes, the Chunk of Lazurite is interchangeable with the Block of Lapis Lazuli.
