A Lithium Battery Upgrade is one of four new upgrades introduced by GregTech for use in GregTech Energy-Consuming Machines. It adds an additional 100,000 EU capacity to the machine when applied. It is installed via right clicking it onto an applicable machine.

Warning: Using a battery upgrade on, say, a blast furnace will consume the upgrade - but it will not show on the blast furnace. The machine will continue to eternally use EU, even if not in use, only now the first 100K of those EU go into the battery. You cannot see how many EU are stored.
