Platinum Ingots are produced by smelting Platinum Dust. Platinum dust in turn is mainly obtained from Sheldonite Ore or as a by-product of grinding Iridium Ore blocks in an Industrial Grinder.
Platinum ingots are used in crafting certain components central to GregTech, such as the Energy Flow Circuit and the Data Control Circuit. It is also used in the construction of the Quantum Tank.
Platinum is equivalent to Shiny Ingot.
