Ruby Ore (GregTech) is an Ore added by GregTech. Ruby Ore can spawn on layers 2 to 32 with up to 7 ores per vein, and can be found in the Desert, Desert Hills, Mountain Desert, Mountain Ridge, Savanna, Shrubland, Wasteland, Fire Swamp and Highlands biomes. When mined, Ruby Ore drops a Ruby with a chance of dropping a Red Garnet. Red Garnets will not be created if the ore is processed by a machine. However, two tiny piles of Red Garnet Dust are created when processing the Ruby Ore in an Industrial Grinder.

It is worth noting that with RedPower 2 installed in conjunction with GregTech, GregTech's Ruby Ore will drop Redpower 2's Ruby.
